All purchases made through the App Store — including subscriptions and one-time purchases — are handled by Apple. Because of this, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple rather than to us.
Request a refund on the web
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- Find the purchase you want refunded.
- Choose "I'd like to", then select Request a refund.
- Choose a reason and submit your request.
Request a refund on iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app and tap your name (Apple ID).
- Tap Media & Purchases, then Purchase History.
- Find the purchase, then tap Report a Problem.
- Follow the prompts to request your refund.
What happens next
Apple will review your request and notify you by email, usually within a few business days. If approved, the refund is returned to your original payment method.
Good to know
- We can't process refunds directly or guarantee Apple's decision — approvals are made by Apple.
- Apple's decision can depend on how recently you bought the item, how much you've used the app, and the reason you provide.
- Submit your request soon after purchase and give a clear reason to help Apple review it.
- If your request is denied, you can contact Apple Support for more help.
